Had a gut
Quit the school job today. Fuck them, fucking amateurs – one whim away from being North Korea - telling me how to do my fucking job. I teach English very well, thank you very much, and I don’t need some gung-ho pissant with only six months of ESL experience telling me what I do and how I do it is wrong. The students love me, they have high test results. Full stop. No, I don’t use smoke and mirrors, and if smoke and mirrors is what they think constitutes education then we are obviously not on the same page. If they think using the text book and CDs provided, identifying the key vocabulary, language and grammar, and teaching ESL 95% in English using English at an appropriate level for the class isn’t good enough, then they can bloody fucking well find some other cunt to trek out to the countryside and adhere to their fads.
Appropriate…
We need music.
Relax. Shit is chill.

Good for you, Bingbing. If your students were getting great results, what was the problem?
Plenty more fish in the sea.
Lame-ass power-points do not an education make.
Obviously, your transitions were not smooth enough, and you integration of sound and animations was inadequate.
Cheers
Lamentably, like most of the modern Western world and its fads, they are more concerned about the process rather than the outcome.
So, having got that off your chest – what shall your next move be?
That’s easy. Private tuition. Companies (doing already), one-on-one’s, part timers that pay more per hour here and there.
The more this sinks in, the more I realise it should have been done long ago.
fair call
What visa you’re on in Korea is very important, and very relevant. Fuck playing the old game.
WOW! I didn’t think you would pull the trigger like that. I hope it works out for you. You still have a great chance at my college.
I didn’t think you would pull the trigger like that
It was squeezed. But, whatever. You need an actual gun for gun culture???
Fukn BAM, and it feels good.
Sounds like they imported a US Education “expert”.
Good luck on your future endeavors.
Congrats mate.
“The more this sinks in, the more I realise it should have been done long ago.” Sometimes you just need to take that first step before you realise how badly you needed the change.
Everything is fine now. We know we are better off being out of that situation. Thank you.
