    Lady Jugs not happy Jan.

    • No worries. My visa expires in five days and the wife isn’t happy (no wife=no visa). Fun times.

            Thanks Merilyn

It will work out eventually, luckily having a Japanese wife is a bonus dealing with the government, especially when you have to sit a language test to be able to work in Japan.

That and we have already bought the house in Kobe, which is a great motivator ;)

            • So, “Hi, arigato gazaimus,” won’t cut it?

The domino’s finally start to fall. Williamson arrested. Thomson will be next. Wilson cant be far behind, then Gillard’s. Abbott better pull his finger out and start cashing in on this development.

The Thomson in parliament is pure farce, he just votes away with Labor all the time, and is still getting a wage, meanwhile every one else is a “meanie”, if they say anything regarding what he did. Pity they never think of the poor sods who were putting their money into the Union in good faith.

What I find unbelievable, Merilyn, is the fact the media are already burying this huge story. News.com have removed it entirely as I type this.

Williamson has been charged with 20 offences and Abbott, to his credit, has made statements condemning Gillard, the Unions and the ALP. The top story on the news sites, however, is still the 4 girls being dragged kicking and screaming because their mother unlawfully abducted them. (Of course those poor children were going to be upset after being up-heaved from their lives by a mother who was interested in her own needs above the law. Those kids were put in foster care because of our inept legal system and now they have to pay the price. That mother should have gone to Italy with those kids to see them off, not stand at the airport to make yet another scene. Anyway, I digress.)

The media is trying, yet again, to protect the criminal Gillard government by removing the real news of the day which could bring the government to its knees. Another case of “look over there… nothing to see here”. The lame stream media is pathetic. This particular problem is not going to go away, no matter what McTernan dictates.

Have a look at this from Michael Smith.

        http://www.michaelsmithnews.com/2012/10/gillard-reaction-to-williamson-arrest.html

Alan Jones was right you know; Julia Gillard is a lying bitch. A shame he mentioned her Dad’s death so the media could attack him and cause a distraction. The truth remains fact nonetheless.

          • October 4th, 2012

First Sean agree with you re the mother.

Thank you for the Michael Smith article, it is excellent. Julia Gillard? Well there is not much more you can say about this woman without being very, very rude, suffice to say, she is in my humble opinion the worst PM this country has ever had, and she uses her “feminist”wiles if she thinks it will do the trick and for that I despise her even more.

This is the woman who couldn’t even stand up for that Labor Lady who was pushed out of her seat after she was told to make way for one of Julia’s cronies, by someone “leaking”about her being intoxicated and um making advances to her “driver”. The lady said it was her only income and she was bringing up her family, but it made no difference to Julia. Now Julia wants all and sundry to “feel”her pain.

Bah, you just get so angry with the majority of the media, who are so left-leaning that it is a wonder they don’t fall over.

        • As for the Jones saga, what an overblown storm in a teacup, manufactured by cretins with the morals of an alley cat.

            • Merilyn
            • October 8th, 2012

The Alan jones saga is now way out of line, the man made a mistake and he apoligised for it, even rang Julia to do it in person [she rejected the call and refused to speak to him, bad mistake in the long run her part, as it just made her look totally ungracious, lif she had accepted the apology people would have thought oh well "she is regal"and her polling probably would have gone through the roof] but all the hate they have for Alan Jones is now on show, day after day.

They are now using this as a means to take people’s minds off all the rot that is going on under this government and I fully hold those in the media doing it [with the backing of the Labor Party, regardless of what they say] responsible.

Do I detect the smell of GetUp behind this campaign to get Alan Joes sacked? Yes I know he is part owner, but all the same the smell is growing………….

I watched the Romney/Nobama debate. If Romney doesn’t win the election the US has no brains. Obama um’d and er’d and sounded like an idiot. Romney was concise, had direction and seemed principled. The guy you’d want in charge. Presidential, even. An impressive effort.

I really hope Nobama is a one term wonder. America can’t afford another 4 years of that clown; neither can the rest of the world. I think at this point everything Obama says and does is purely and act. The man is a puppet. Without the teleprompter, the guy is hopeless.

    • I watched the Romney/Nobama debate.

Me, too. It was a good debate which Romney clearly won, not that I think anyone is counting their chickens. Romney certainly had the stuttering Obama’s measure on every key point.

Have been following US and Aussie politics mainly on facebook, largely thanks to Michael Smith and Larry Pickering’s excellent updates.

Regarding the stuff on the other side of the pond, it is clear that RDS – Romney Derangement Syndrome – has already set in. One facebook friend of a friend described herself as feeling “violent” after watching Romney speak. Another lamented America’s never-ending shift to the Right. One would have to assume she was also including the last four years which would mean that, somehow, under Obama, America has shifted to the Right.

Interesting. Not to mention a number of people describing Mitt as a neo-con. Well, he may be a lot of things but certainly “neo-con” doesn’t spring to mind, lol!

        Alex Williamson ‘leaves’ PM’s office

Alex Williamson, the daughter of disgraced former Health Services Union chief Michael Williamson, has left her role as a media adviser in Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s office.

Gillard communications director John McTernan confirmed this afternoon that Williamson’s last day was today.

“She’s leaving under her own steam … I’ve been reorganising my office to get it into shape for the general election. She goes with our blessing and best wishes for the future. It’s a time a year out from an election when people choose to stick or move.”

McTernan said Williamson would now “decompress for a bit” — a common move for departing PMO staffers.

Details have emerged of a renegade Facebook post in which Williamson is alleged to have criticised “the media” for hounding her family over the saga. But McTernan said that was unrelated to Williamson’s decision.

When the full Temby report into the HSUEast branch was released this week, Michael Williamson’s wife Julieanne’s company Canme Services was revealed to have received $400,000 in payments from the union over four years between 2005 and 2009. The “a” in Canme stands for Alex.

Alex Williamson once shared a house in Canberra with former NSW general secretary turned senator Mark Arbib. She has been working in the PMO for 5 years.

“This is probably the best move for all concerned,” one senior ALP source said this afternoon.

  1. F1 is in Chinese again. fml. The channel is always in English, the f1 broadcasts were always in English… until Singapore and then they inexplicably changed over to Chinese. It’s hard to understand. The pre-race show and the post-race show are still in English. Every other program is still in English. But just for qualifying and the race, they switch to Chinese. It is intensely frustrating. I’ve begged my wife for two weeks to call them and ask why, but she didn’t until I handed her the phone today, but of course it’s a Saturday so the person on the phone can’t do anything.

2 weeks and it is the MotoGP :)

      • And this time next week I’ll be driving home from the Korean GP! Hard race today for Mark after getting shunted by that idiot Grosjean, but to then switch tyres and the front wing, be 20 seconds behind the last car after the safety car went in, and make effectively a one tyre change strategy work was superb (but I can’t blame him for wanting a few whiskeys tonight)!

Grosjean is a serial pest for ruining the race on the 1st lap, he should be punted back to formula 300 or formula ford and learn how to drive an open wheeler.

So today (9th Oct) we saw the alp aided by the ‘dependants & green” endorse the speakership of slipper.

So the 44th Parliament is now an unethical act of self preservation by mussellini and the clam caucus.

This government is officially a joke with the alp comprising xenophobes, racists, misogynists, misandrists, perverts, whoremongers ably led by a lying slapper and assisted by the dumbest treasurer in the history of mankind.

Julia and her cronies [Greens/Independents] showed that they have nothing but contempt of the Australian people and the parliament as for some of the media they are just as bad if not worse for their backing of this lot.

Oh almost forgot to put this, and it is all Tony Abbotts fault.

Every now and then, I think about writing something about the state of the political day. The government looks like the scene of a crash. It’s horrific. If one more of the many domino’s falls; it’s over.

      “Dear Santa,

I have been a really good boy this year. Honest!
Can I please have an early election for Christmas?

      Best Regards and hugs,

Slipper motion lost by 1 vote. Slipper resigned (gave himself a wonderful obit.) Anna Burke elected Speaker. Taking a vote now for Deputy Speaker – between Nat. Bruce Scott (Maranoa QLD) & ALP Steve Georganas (Hindmarsh SA). Smell huge rat – Tony Windsor spoke in favour of Bruce Scott.

Hi Gregory, good to see you, haven’t visited lately, but the news is that Dad rejoined Mum on the 16th of August, arrived just in time to see and say farewell to him.

You are right they have no shame and the “hand-bag”, brigade has shown the whole of Australia that they are hypocrites, so from now on if they accuse Abbott of “sexism”, all anyone has to do is to point out that they backed Slipper, knowing full well that a deal had been made and he was going to resign anyway.

So that show Julia put on was staged right from word go. Yep she really is a nasty woman.

        • Sorry to hear about your father, Merilyn. I’m glad you had the chance to say your goodbyes.
I’ve been trying to write something about the whole bizarre circus in Canberra, but every time I start it takes another turn and becomes even more ridiculous.
The latest news is that Mike Tyson has put his support behind Jooolya.

Mike Tyson? Well good heavens that should really put the “icing on the cake”, that her rant is a failure.

            Thank you Gregory.

While all this is going on in Canberra, the debt is rising, Julia is spending up big overseas throwing ‘borrowed money”around, more boats are arriving, fights are breaking out in detention centers, people are getting their bills and noticing the rising costs and all Julia can say , ” She is offended…..” the ones who should be offended are the Australian people with her and her government of fools.

That is my rant for the week, sorry about that.
