    The Labor Party reckon that it is all Tony Abbott’s fault that the abuse in Parliament is taking place.

    Perhaps it would be better if Julia Gillard went back to wearing the pant suits she used to favour and flat shoes it might be more comfortable for her.

      When i first saw the film of gillzilla falling over on the 6 o’clock news there was an immense sound of thunder that followed.

      Then i realised it was the whole street cheering and clapping.

    OK bing since you are very busy, will keep the chat lïne going.

    Have been thinking about the way the Macquarie Dictionary and its editor Sue Butler changed the meaning of the word misogyny to “help” Julia Gillard, and think it was very patronising of her.

    It is almost as though they patted Julia on the head and said, “now, now don’t you worry, we will change the bad word, and all will be better again.”

    “Now off you go and visit other countries, and when you come back, all the female population will be happy with you again”. [This of course is just my thoughts and did not happen]. [I hope].

    In fact all that it really did was to make it look worse.

    Having a major in Linguistics makes me doubly offended with Macquarie’s ill-timed tampering.

    Also, am I the only one who notices Julia’s nasty jibes against Abbott: misogynist (even with its new meaning of ‘sexist’), gutless, coward) – by the standards of any dictionary, these are spiteful slanders. Why doesn’t the media call her out on her own vicious smears?

      You mean the Canberra Press Gallery? Not going to happen. They seem to be on the whole a useless left wing bunch, and just repeat every day the rubbish that is handed out to them by John McTernan, if you read their artilces you will notice they are nearly all word for word the same.

      Have pointed out elsewhere about the media letting Julia get away with her smears.
