Not difficult to agree with most what written in the article.

Few prepared talk of wanting ALP re-elected, so many ALP traditional supporters accept Federal needs see a change of government to change things - in the ALP.

More seem not yet persuaded Tony Abbott's campaign of rhetoric not policy is a serious alternate government.

Clear is dis-interest in Tony Abbott's rhetoric without policy.

Voters seek more commitments concerning what policy changes will come from an Abbott government.

Who trusts a politician seeking election ?

Without clearer policy many voters may well struggle with their voting decision.

Voting decision may not be made in terms of improvements, rather in terms of the least damage to expect from either as government.

Voters may yet find a way to tell both they dislike them...

Disagree article suggestion Kevin Rudd is finished.

Certainly hope not, as Parliamentary authority needs balance, when elected Tony Abbott present a real challenge for coalition and others.

Which Parliamentary personalities do Australian voters view as credible challenges to Tony Abbott ?

Kevin Rudd retains still widespread community support.

Kevin Rudd knowss Gillard block refuse to accept him, in a few months their Parliamentary majority changes.

Kevin Rudd considers and plans things, sure things often work out differently, yet planning is essential.

The resurrection of Kevin Rudd included his talking high ground of commitments made, so rejecting recent opportunity to challenge Julia Gillard.

Kevin Rudd considered reality, so plans for ALP leadership in opposition.

Kevin Rudd as ALP leader in opposition will be able to achieve changes.

Kevin Rudd certainly understands the difficulty balancing the use of authority with the morale of the team.

Burnt into Kevin Rudd's mind is how too much direct scrutiny makes your subordinates miserable, how being too heavy handed squelches all group input.

Kevin Rudd as survivor in fore-see-able disaster struck ALP is able to present a clear image of resurrection, through structural and systemic changes.

Kevin Rudd can present and require structural changes former ALP structural tyrants ran away from making previously.

Those opposing these essential changes may find Kevin Rudd directly approaching remaining ALP members, diminished number of Union members, former members, supporters even wider public for direct support.

Kevin Rudd likely to propose registering supporters, enabling them personally and privately to vote on these changes, including the selection of ALP Parliamentary candidates and leadership.

These Democratic policies anathema to more autocratic, ancient style decision makers of the ALP and Unions.

Following polls, is more interesting when consider IF Australians voted to elect their Governor-General, who then must select their Ministers from elected Parliamentarians, who would be the popularly elected Governor-General and who would be selected for Ministers of what ?

Kevin Rudd as Opposition Leader may even introduce a Bill for Popular Election of the Governor-General. Many Australians regularly indicate desire and support for this; Popular choice so opposed by many anti-royalists presenting themselves as republicans.
