Will James Cameron direct Cleopatra?
James Cameron is reportedly in negotiations with Sony to direct a 3D movie about Cleopatra. Angelina Jolie is tipped to play the part of the famous Egyptian queen.
Cameron certainly knows how to make epic films. Avatar and Titanic are numbers one and two in the list of highest-grossing films respectively.
This latest take on the life of the ill-fated queen will be based on a book by Pulitzer Prize winner, Stacy Schiff.
But please, this time, could he not blatantly politicise it so much?
Whilst well made, Avatar smacked of anti-American, anti-capitalist, and environmentalist, militant Gaia-worshipping sentiment, as did Titanic to a lesser degree (rich people bad, poor people good).
On a non-political note, how will Jolie match up against Liz Taylor?

Thank goodness for that. I don’t really care which picture won it – JFTR, it was Hurt Locker – just so long as it wasn’t James Cameron’s poorly scripted, leftist wankfest aka Avatar.
Also, congrats to Christoph Waltz for getting he Best Supporting Actor gong for his excellent performance as the Jew-hating Nazi in Inglorious Basterds.

And almost curiously, it’s Rupert Murdoch – generally considered a Righty – pushing for it (“it” being the biggest puke-inducing Leftard wet dream piece of propaganda movie out there). Free markets and all that.

No surprises that Benedict ain’t happy. And nor should he be, considering all this movie is is a ripped-off version of Pocahontas that just revels in this new green AGW religion.

This is hilarious. People are literally getting depressed and even contemplating suicide after watching Avatar. Seemingly forgetting that the Na’vi don’t have toilet paper, or coffee, or porn, the poor souls are yearning for the lush vegetation and winged beasts.
