If I were a greenie…

I’d be feeling like a right sucker about now. I’d be spewing up chunks of tofu and mung beans into my eco-friendly shopping bag. I’d key the side of my Prius. I’d stop cleaning the bird shit off my solar panels. Why? Because my hero has just splurged nearly nine million dollars of gaia-raping cash on a seaside mansion, that’s why.

And check out the comments from that link. It get’s even better.

I do think global warming exists and is manmade, however I think it is a result of NUCLEAR exposure, not carbon.

LULZ! They’re not called ecotards for nothing.

In related news, the woman who backed down from the “Draw Mohammed” campaign has clawed back a little kudos. She’s launched “Everybody Draw Al Gore Day”. Lame in comparrison, but kinda funny.

  1. From the links you provided, it sounds like a luxury mansion with a lot of nice stuff, packed into an itty-bitty 1.5 acre plot of land that has a view of the sea (not sea-side as is said). That’s not so eco-unfriendly.

Maybe you’re just focusing on the cost. So what. Do you think that environmentalists are communists or something? If so, you need your head checked (some enviros might be, but very few).

    • Mate, what part of “sucker” don’t you get?

Dan, look up the word irony……..then come back.

Fat Al gore…save the planet….live like a peon……fat al builds (another) mansion….fat al wants us to live like 17th century serfs……..do you get the irony yet???????????, or do you need subtelty applied with a sledgehammer.

  2. “live like a peon”…. “like 17th century serfs”…

Well no, he is arguing for us to live more sustainably, using renewable energy instead of fossil fuels. I know what you mean though, you think that switching to renewable energy sources will reduce us to poverty. And I partly agree with you – as it is now fossil fuels ARE cheaper than renewable energy, partly just because the infrastructure doesn’t exist for renewables yet, and partly because petroleum is such an effective fuel.

But peons and serfs?! Whew, you have a gift for over-the-top exaggerations my friend.

Sorry if I was too harsh. I’m not trying to be harsh. The concept of renewables is grand and noble, but the technolohgy is in it’s infancy. And Al Gore is a fucking fraud.

Dan, do you get the irony that big als house of lard with the giant carbon buttprint was bought & paid for from the indulgences (snakeoil) that the suckers bought.

    “a gift for over-the-top exaggerations” – thanks………it’s a skill.
