twitter and CANdo

You may have noticed above the donate button a little message stating “follow @jimmybingbing“. That’s because as of yesterday, I finally bit the bullet and signed up. Some of the feeds I like are #auspol #tcot #tlot and #ozcot. The folks there put up plenty of handy links all through the day so if you’re ever in a hurry to catch the latest, it’s a really handy tool.

I’ve also signed up to CANdo, the Conservative Action Network in Australia. It’s real grassroots, not like that astroturfing mob, GetUp! You can do as much or as little as you like there. Well worth checking out.

Speaking of doing something, pretty soon GetUp! is going to come out with a list of companies they want boycotted – boycotted for simply not wanting to go along with the governments ineffective and expensive carbon (dioxide!) tax. s_dog is keeping things up-to-date on that one.

More on that lovely mob, Getup! here.

Oh, and don’t forget the $76,000,000,000,000 (trillion) the UN needs from to to, ah, save, ah, the planet.

UPDATE

GetUp! ditches its Grocery boycott (sorry, can’t capture the tweets like s_dog can).
