Late Nite Special: the UN sucks dogs and you know it

Bunch of shysters ripping the guts out of us.

Delingpole:

What’s amazing about this stuff – and believe me, there’s plenty more where this came from – is the unblushing shamelessness with which it advocates this economic insanity. Here is the world’s most powerful intergovernmental institution essentially arguing for the destruction of the global economy, enforced rationing, Marxist wealth redistribution, greater regulation, the erosion of property rights and global governance by a new world order of technocrats and bureacrats. And being so upfront about it they actually issue press releases, telling us what they’re planning to do and encouraging us to write about it.

Bob Brown, Australian Greens leader wants “One World Governance”.

Former PM wants that UN gig.

Australian Fabian Socialist PM wants to use us as a test case for a global carbon tax, essentially UN administered.

Some fight they’re having.

Said tax will not reduce global temps in any significant manner… within the next 1000 years.

No one disputes climate change. Climate has always changed – naturally – and current changes are well within natural variables.

They want $76 t.r.i.l.l.i.o.n.

  1. Hi,
Delingpole is spot on in what he has written. You really can see the writing on the wall, with us Aussies slowly losing our choices bit by bit on the hope that no one will actually be aware of how much the powers that be are running our lives, it of course will get a lot worse governed by the carbon tax, the beginning of the end I feel, I can not understand why people have not stopped the nation over this, there should be the biggest of out cries, yet at the “No Carbon Tax” rally I attended only around 300 people showed up, unbelievable. Can people not see that OZ is being governed by a dictatorship?

    From Andrew Bolt’s blog.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2012065/The-green-tax-Climate-change-levies-swallowed-Treasury.html#

A good report, on how it is all about the money not the climate.

Now Get-Uppity are resorting to sabotage! Honestly, this is terrifying really. What sort of Nation are we going to have as the divide between ideologies widens like this?

I think the good, Lord Monckton, was right today when he reminded the crowd of 1930’s Germany.

Finally, a Union (TWU) takes a stand against any Carbon Tax that will hurt its members! Where were they over the past weeks? Months? Years? Mind you, if they do as they say, “I would expect we would take civil disobedience action as early as next week.” Well, I think I may have to go along and help them out.

Settle everyone. We are watching the final stage of the Green Revolution in which the people realise that it is one giant con job.
Remember that we were talking about this government self destructing two years ago?
Remember that we KNEW this was going to happen?
These idiots NEVER listen to what happens at the coal face, they just keep listening in the echo chamber of their own intellectual vacuum, then it suddenly hits home.
Mussolini and Clara Petacci. Hanging from meat hooks.
Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife Elena, backing up to brick walls.

    Pass the friggin’ popcorn, Carpe.

I think you’re right, WS. I hope you’re right. I remember saying a few years ago at Bolt’s, we have to let the Greens have a bit of power to enable the people to see what they are really like. There will always be those (on both sides) who want to control everything and make bad policy. Mostly, I don’t think they are evil. In fact, most are good people, with good intentions. We wont always agree, but that’s life.

The sticking point, it would seem, is the fact democracy is being sidelined. I’ve said before, many Labor people I know have cancelled their lifetime memberships because they are being ignored by the Party they have put their trust in. It must be particularly hard for them to swallow.

In the end, this government will make decisions other governments will change. I see this as a 3 year process to fix, at best. We will most likely have two closely timed elections. The first will punish Labor for bad management and deserting their voters, the second a result of a double-dis that will replace half those in the Senate today. The best we can hope for economically is that Abbott will immediately Repeal these Carbon Bills. If he can’t straight away, he could make the Carbon price point $0, until we are in a position to burn the Bills.

The States will also be able to do things to make life difficult for the Federal Government and I’m sure some issues will end up in the High Court for deliberation. It is clear this is going to cost Australia a lot of money and waisted time; which could have been spent on more productive things, like infrastructure for transport, hospitals, research and development, and a thousand other things being neglected whilst we all bitch and fight over a none existent problem we have little chance of addressing, even if it were true. Then again, my opinion here could just be wishful thinking.

The real Julia, thanks to tips for the day at Andrew Bolt’s blog.

Put up a post from Andrew Bolt this morning from tips for the day on the real Julia, it was on pg 1 and it has now gone. Looks like it has been removed by the moderator, and that is sad. [Talking about Andrew’s blog bing not yours].

      • Sean of Deer Park
      • July 10th, 2011

Don’t worry about it, Merilyn. I have noticed this, too. I posted a comment recently that ‘disappeared’. Can’t say I have ever been censored in the past at his site.

I don’t know who does the moderating these days, but I’ll bet it changes once the legal proceeding against Bolt are over (Taking an awful long time for the judge to deliberate on his case, isn’t it? I wonder, why? /sarc)

Also, when was the last time, Bolta, personally responded to any comment. It is like it is no longer his blog at all. He posts the story and then wipes his hands of it, in my opinion. Probably for legal reasons.

        • July 10th, 2011

Sean, I didn’t post it someone else did, it was on the real Julia and very good, so I put it up on bing’s blog, but it didn’t appear, went back to Andrew’s blog to get another copy [printed out one for myself] for my sister-in-law and it was gone, so I found out afterward for some posts put up by spot and a few other people in answer to “sister-Ray”, and that is just a shame as people will start to wonder if it is even worth while having an opinion at Bolt’s blog.

Agreed, it’s a tangled web they are weaving. Bolt’s cred will be hurt if this keeps up.

Yesterday, here at BB’s, I posted a comment which still shows up as needing moderation. I posted it again because I could see the link appeared twice in the original attempt. The first link starts with “Read More…”. Doesn’t usually happen like that, so I am assuming something has changed with the system at News Limited. I doubt, BB, would have removed your post. (He’s missing in action since yesterday… 😆 Gone AWOL!. Must be having a good w/e?)

If you printed it out, take a copy (or type it out) and re-post here. Sounds interesting; I’m intrigued.

          • Yea verily. If you have the time Merilyn, I think we’d all appreciate it. Got a scanner?

Must be having a good w/e? A fukn ripper, mate. Lady BB’s cousin was married in Seoul. Like our wedding, there’s a huge extended family network.

Unlike our wedding, said cousin-in-law married a Catholic. Say what you like about Catholics, but Catholics have booze at their weddings… unlike Presbyterians.

Yes, I married a Presbyterian, and we know all about them Presbyterians.

Then it was down to Daegu to catch up with the boys. The only reason I remember eating that kebab is because a) I always eat kebab when I’m 23 sheets to the wind and b) morning (OK, afternoon) burps.

            😮

PS And it ain’t over yet. F1 in just over three hours and Aussie Mark Webber is on Pole! Edged out ze German by 32 thousandths of a second!

  2. People of Australia you have to believe in the Human Carbon Pollution – Global Warming Mantra to want to accept the handouts (if you are eligible) from this government.
Talk about being bought off to silence any and all opposition.

So now we have juliars CO2 tax, the mere fact it runs at a $4.5 BILLION deficit is a friggin joke, but wait, she has raised the tax thresholds and increased the amount of tax that applies to them.

Both i and Lady Jugulum are high income earners, so now, juliar intends to steal more of our hard earned. Fuck juliar, fuck Australia, we’ll be moving back to Japan in the new year.
