Go the convoy!

Real Australians stick it to PM Gillard’s hot air tax grab.

Thanks Mags for an excellent round-up!

And a big G’day to our Tizona buddy, thefrollickingmole, who is one of the many thousands participating in the biggest show of peacetime people power this great nation has ever witnessed.

Report.

CNN (TV) still won’t report what can easily be described as an historic event, but at least other international news agencies can.

UPDATE

The links in comments are such good value.

Someone, please, terminate this government and its coniving support.

“Cross” barely gives the situation justice. That the fucking cops broke up the convoy, sending half of them miles away to Bruce Stadium? Anthony Sleazyville best shut the fuck up, too.

And them media? Damn shame they aren’t any more… propaganda spewing suckass wannabes.

And no one gives a shit about Ghaddafi.

Last time Dimebag (RIP) and Kerry King were on stage together…

  1. Hi,
Thank You for the mention of my blog. Yes I had heard about the hold up of the tucks, I also heard that a lot of people had trouble walking up to Parliament house, there is a lot of talk about this on the Just Grounds web site. No explanations as yet, or if any of it actually happened. I know there was an incident with someone of “different thinking” and he did a bit of shoving and pushing, no doubt trying to stir up trouble, but the people were too smart for that, and he lost his argument, but it did put everyone on the alert so to speak.

I will be doing a post on the Convoy in Canberra, I’m waiting to see what else comes out, there is another rally tomorrow I think, so I will wait and see, and hopefully get more info. 🙂

  2. Living it up on of of Korea’s many islands the next few days (yes, even the rooms here have a PC provided with high speed internet access), but the news is still harshing my vibe, but if you could be so kind to drop a link to your convoy post, it’d be much appreciated.

    BTW, where’d JustMeinNT go?

JustMe has been on holidays to bing. magsx2 seems the police have admitted they stopped the convoy, by telling them they could not use a certain road. Believe Alan Jones had a long talk with those truckies involved on his radio show. [No link sorry].

Just listening to the 2GB broadcast, thanks for posting Merilyn. A ‘must listen’ for everyone here.

It is disgraceful the people of Australia’s democratic right to protest was stopped by the authorities. It is disgraceful the media have been blatantly lying to the people.

Australians are going to remember this shameful government for decades to come. I hope the opposition fully investigate ALL breeches of our democratic rights once in power and do not stop until every last corrupt politician of this Communist regime are put before our Courts and held to account. It is the only way to ensure our Country is never again threatened and our trust betrayed from within.

Remember, in Britain, there were Six politician’s who were jailed recently for proven crimes; similar to the allegations made against Craig Thomson MP, for misuse of funds for personal gain. The ALP and and Unions need to be thoroughly investigated (audited) to see just how deep and costly any potential corruption could be within our own parliamentary/organisational ranks. Politicians are not above the law and we need to ensure a clear message is sent to future MP’s that grubby politics will not be tolerated. (I also think to be fair, all politician’s need to be scrutinised regardless of political leaning. It’s time to clean up the mess these incompetents are creating, once and for all.)

Geez, it makes me so cross.

      • Hear hear! A must listen.

    Report from the Washington Post.

A shame our own piss-weak Media was not interested in reporting the Convoy. Says a lot really.

    • Piss-weak? That’s giving piss-weak a bad name.

Evening Troops, this was on the news in Mackay on Monday night and was a topic of discussion on site on Tuesday, people aren’t happy in regional Aust and the derision from Albosleazy in parliament has pissed the average punter off.

I’ll see what the reaction is in Sydney tomorrow. Back in Melbourne the reaction is outrage, ignorance or ambivalence.

    Interesting times troops.

  3. Hi,
Done my last post on the convoy if you would like to have a read.

Hi Mags, thanks for the great coverage of the Convoy. Something our paid media seems incapable of these days. You’re videos show what the media failed to report, and prove what true Aussie’s think and can achieve when pushed to the brink.

      Well done and thanks again.

(I even managed to feed your fish; although I thought they were sperm at first and thought, “what the…” 😆 )

      • Thanks Sean of Deer Park. Thanks again for taking the time to comment.
Sperm, thank god I put on the top please feed the fish 😆

That was a good round up magsx2, well done to you and to all that put so much work into coming to Canberra. The dreadful antics of the Labor/Greens was there for all to see of how they think of their fellow Australians, these hard working people who pay their taxes that pay the wages of the Politicians, [something they seem to forget when elected] and who also one day will VOTE.
