We want peace

But think about it; just what is “peace”?

It’s the opposite of war, right?

What would absolute peace entail?

No war.

Duh.

No fighting. No conflict.

No disagreements. No conflicts. No discrepancies.

No difference of any sort of opinion.

A big ask. We will probably never have “peace”, but we can certainly strive for, and expect, stability. Agree to disagree, and all that. A stable government. A stable economy. A stable job. A stable relationship. Security at home, respect for other cultures (on their own soil) and a reciprocal respect for our own culture as a Nation and as Individuals.

    • Apart from thinking you blogged that wearing a bra and g-banger (eek!), I was thinking more along the lines of virtually every human interaction is war-like in nature, at least on some level.
