Eureka! Follow the money!

Push the government line, and you’ll be handsomely rewarded.

Twenty-five Eureka Prizes, worth more than $240,000, were awarded at the Hordern Pavilion.

John Cook, a physics graduate who created the Skeptical Science website to debunk lies and misinformation about climate change science, won the prize for advancement of climate change knowledge, sponsored by the NSW government.

Mr Cook, co-author of Climate Change Denial, started the website in 2007 and has published scientific rebuttals to more than 150 climate change myths.

Lies and misinformation? Climate change myths? Wow. Such objective journalism.

Meanwhile, governments world-wide continue to throw real climate science to the dogs.

For instance, research into cosmic ray theory at CERN, not to mention the results they’re getting, is so far being ignored by governments as it doesn’t fit the anthropogenic essential trace gas assertion.

Oh, no. As touched on here yesterday, the real money – the real taxpayer money, that is – is going into “green jobs”.

Debate THAT next week in Parliament, Juliar.
