Just move the damn frog

THE discovery of a single endangered frog has stopped a multi-million dollar upgrade under way on a notorious stretch of the Princes Highway.

The state government suspended works before Christmas following the discovery of the “rare and endangered” green and golden bell frog.

The Department of Roads and Maritime Services had been working on a $62 million widening duplication project on a 6.3km stretch of the highway through South Nowra.
