iProfit: the winner… and the losers

Apple is making a killing, but the poor mugs selling Steve Jobs’ wonder phone aren’t.

Ho hum.

“It depends what you like,” a clerk says when asked for advice on which type of phone to buy. “Do you like the Androids’ faster download times, bigger screens, longer battery life and better cameras? Or do you like Apple?”

Heheh (from a satisfied Android user…). 😛

    They’re losing money because:
    1. Apple doesn’t let them add crapware to the iPhone, from which they get kickbacks.
    2. They have to add additional cell nodes/capacity to cope with the traffic from the iPhones.
    3. They’re probably making profits off the iPhone, with losses due to the ‘other’ phones.
    4. Longer battery life? Better cameras? I wonder where those came from.

    Next month, iPad #4?

    Cheers
