It’s high time the PM come clean

Because the longer she stalls in relation to her involvement in the ever-growing AWU/Slater&Gordon scandal, the grubbier and even more untrustworthy she looks to an electorate already betrayed by her introduction of the carbon tax she promised wouldn’t be imposed.

Her excuse of being “young and naive”, barely believable when first uttered, is now completely unreliable.

Come clean, Julia Gillard.

Via Andrew Bolt, we see more evidence today of a PM desperate to cover her tracks. Even though she was a Partner (didn’t know a big-shot law firm would have the “young and naive” as Partners), she left Slater&Gordon very abruptly after her professional, romantic, and indeed questionable relationship with corrupt AWU official Bruce Wilson – the bloke who syphoned off $400,000 of union members’ funds with Gillard’s help – came to light.

There’s a six month gap from when she left to when she started working for the Victorian ALP that has been airbrushed out of the parliamentary records.

Why would someone do that, especially someone “young and naive”?

It’s high time our PM begin treating the electorate with a bit more respect. It comes down to trust and credibility, and right now, it just feels like we have a lying thief running the show.

Also, via the link, finally the Canberra press pack is starting to ask the appropriate questions, however tentatively.

Larry Pickering has put up his fourth instalment of, “Is the Prime Minister a Crook?”

In it, we take a look at Bill Shorten as AWU National Secretary shutting down police investigations by not releasing files.

We look at Gillard’s co-Partner and co-conspirator, Bernard Murphy, now a Gillard-appointed Federal Court judge.

Bill Ludwig is apoplectic.

And Larry challenges current AWU National Secretary, Paul Howes, on his claims of “zero tolerance” towards union corruption.

Hand over the files. Your “zero tolerance” will assist in recovering your members’ stolen funds… but it will destroy your friends and devastate your union. Your call, Piggy.

More to come.

Unfortunately, she and her very involved cronies are very powerful people!

    • Not sure how much longer some of them will be powerful for.

Larry Pickering was just on the radio (3AW) in Melbourne with Derryn Hinch. The story is gaining momentum.

Pickering says Gillard has got 3 to 4 weeks max to go as PM. He says he is in direct contact with Farris QC who has information which is a “dead set bombshell” and will be released on the Pickering Post very soon.

He says the Police are being “tardy” in releasing vital information but it too will be available shortly and will assist in “joining the dots” which will finish Gillard.

Look out for the link to Larry’s interview when 3AW put it up.
Meanwhile do read this… Hinch is out for Gillards blood.

    • It’s riveting stuff!

    Underbelly: The Gillard years…

    • Could well be a series a few seasons later. After all, the next one will be about Joh, Lewis and the Fitzgerald Inquiry. Mind you, the lefty producers haven’ touched Gough yet, just the safe option of a Righty in QLD, so don’t hold your breath.

May I take this opportunity to note a Discovery HD program on the TV the other night. They showed the Democracy museum in Canberra. Highlighted on this international program was Get.Up! Conspicuously absent was anything else, noteably CanDo!

Larry just reported, yet another, journalist has left The Australian following his question to the Prime Minister regarding the Wilson/Slater and Gordon saga yesterday. Nothing to see here folks, move along now…

    From Pickering on facebook:

The two jewels in the crown of the communist’s mantra are “redistribution of wealth” and “control of the Press”.

Is it too bold to supplant those two jewels with the “Carbon Tax” and the “Finkelstein Report”?

Gillard’s copious media staff is stacked with her old university mates of the “Socialist Forum”, an unabashed communist group who’s constitution demands dedication to influencing ALP policy.
They have never had it so good.

Gillard’s endless press conferences are stage-managed by these rabid Farrago contributors.

Notice how Gillard points to the correspondents she will take questions from in order? “We’ll have Bob next, then we’ll go to Marj, then we’ll come down the front here to…”

There is much more to this than appearing to be in charge of the Press conference. She is actually deciding who will ask questions and who won’t. Ask the wrong question and you are out of the loop.

The Canberra Press gallery needs to be careful. A newspaper simply can’t persist with a correspondent who is unable to ask a question of the Prime Minister.

Yesterday, The Australian’s Chief political correspondent, Matthew Franklin, asked a question totally off topic… completely out of left field. The question concerned Slater & Gordon’s inability (or refusal) to disclose certain files and would she approve.

Gillard’s face dropped, morphing into a mask of anger. Everyone noticed her reaction to the question. She of course curtly dismissed it. But that cute little dimple etched itself a deeper in her forehead.

I awoke this morning to read Matthew Franklin had accepted a redundancy package from The Australian. Now, not that I’m in any way a conspiracy theorist but this appeared odd. Matthew was a Chief Political Correspondent. I thought bugger it, we’ll give Matthew a call.

“Just a coincidence”, he said. “I had been thinking of leaving for some time and I was very happy with the package. I intend to spend 18 months doing renovations at home. No conspiracy.”

Ok, fair enough, so I figured I’d check Matthew’s twitter page:

“Undecided on a new career. Teacher. Horticulturalist? Cage Fighter? Thanks again for the kind messages one and all.”

“Am leaving the Oz for a generous redundancy package and on great terms. I love the paper and journalism.”

Phew, I’m glad Matthew cleared that up. I was thinking he may be yet another honest journalist who disappeared for asking an awkward question of the Prime Minister.”

    • It’s still odd. In what universe is Matthew Franklin redundant? He was one of their best.

    • Was just listening to Steve and Bolta on 2gb, and apparently Matthew decided when he turned 50, he’d move on.

BTW, good to hear they’re both reading the Pickering Post. 😉

Unbelievable!!! She needs to face the facts and really call it on what she has done. How can a Prime Minister hold this position when she has so many misdeeds. Just because she was smart enough to escape the law is no excuse. If it was an ordinary citizen of this country, they woukd have been imprisoned and thrown away the key.

Hopefully truth will out. Election cannot come soon enough. Then we can get on with our lives and not have to worry about this so called pollie.

So gillard & thomson are feeding from the same old trough. They will get away with it if we don’t keep up asking questions. And talking about fairness in the thompson affair, was he fair to the persons who paid their union dues faithfully only to be hoodwinked. I don’t think so!!!! Also it appears that if you are in opposition you are fair game and get crucified for sayng a word against them. But they can say whatever they like. OMG What about us, the poor suckers who pay for their huge salaries and get nothing in return, except higher taxes.
