The Gillard transcripts: hardly indemnifying

You know I’ve actually got a case of writers’ block. Have just been sitting here watching and listening to a mini plastic Australian flag blowing and scratching against the wall here in Korea, my second home, as the cool air from the fan blows upon it.

Trying to soak in this and that and a few other things…

To have even those links published is taking on a huge risk, against a government stacked with former leftist lawyers and unionists; juxtaposed to calls for tighter media regulation amid Australia’s first ever “media inquiry” into a free press.

We edge along a precipice today.

More to come. Let me think about it for a tic. Hope you understand.

And “more to come”? How to say it. You know what I mean.

Oh, for Christ’s sake. (Apologies for the blasphemy )

So, now we learn “Bill the Greek” and “Con Spir…” were involved. I wonder if Biggy Rat and Itchy Brother were on board, too?

Unprofessional, unbecoming and hardly the actions of a person who would later be put in a position to lead a Democratic Nation by a political party (the ALP) made up of Union officials. One can only guess as to how deep into the Union/ALP movement this sort of rot potentially goes. We have questions into the behaviour of a number of ALP figures and individual Unions, as well.

Too many questions and unanswered allegations have piled up on the Prime Ministers desk. It is time for resignations to be sought and an election held to save the integrity of the entire Australian Parliament.

Further more, the incoming government needs to have a Royal Commission into the goings on within Unions to ensure, in future, the elected representatives of such organisations are held accountable to the Members they supposedly represent and punish those who have done wrong. Without all this, the questions and uncertainty will fester in my opinion.

  1. Well, if they were wondering what to do for the next series of Underbelly after the Joh one that’s coming up…

The transcripts are actually hilarious… pity it’s such a serious matter…can’t believe anyone with an IQ above single nos. would accept such shoddy work from such a motley crew – sounds more like a little old lady sob story. Hasn’t she heard of inspecting work done on other properties, paying only on completion of satisfactory work, getting council approval, not continuing to ‘hire’ the same incompetents… no wonder she thought the BER was great- it was brilliantly executed compared to her handling of her own house reno. And I can’t understand, with the salary she must have been paid, why she needed to borrow the deposit for the house, get a 6 months’ advance to pay for the reno (only some of it), AND effectively have the mortgage paid by sharing a 2-bedroom cottage with a couple. Nothing adds up- literally.

  2. The Underbelly script would write itself! Bill the Greek. Some dodgy bastard called Con replete with the tacky-as a two dollar pimp’s palace decor. Too funny.

Ha. Maybe I did get that one from you, woz.

Of course, they could only get enough facts to make a season IF there were ever an extensive police investigation, something akin to the Fitzgerald inquiry or a royal commission…

Don’t you know, Julia reckons we are all “sexist”, and that is why we are going after her, according to today’s The Advertiser, [Friday, 24/8/2012 by Mark Kenny, [who I might add is rather Left-wing] under the title “A sexist campaign is out to get me, says PM]. So there you have it, of course she has still not answered the questions put to her, accept to say like a parrot “I did nothing wrong”. It is on page 4 by the way, but the Media are going after Abbott even harder now.

    • I heard she’s up for an Emmy after yesterday’s speech…
