Hey party people. Have moved town. Apartment is all set up. New job starts tomorrow. Say a little prayer for our boy cat. He just got through the worst of it – a bout of cat pneumonia. Man, he was out of shape for a while there… about 800 bucks out of shape to be more specific. :-/

And the new students? Haha, they have a level test tomorrow (but it’s a doddle).

Excellent news, live the dream Bing.

Lady J has the usual question, how big is the apartment.

    • I guess big enough. Not quite the size of our optimal joint, sort of like a pre-shrunken version. But we’re still able to use one room as a walk-in closet (very convenient actually) and another room as a storage/cat’s play area. Huge smoking area separated from the apartment proper, too. All in all, good… and about twice as much as one could obtain were the company not to help out.

        excellent 🙂

    • PS I think I just had my best first day at work ever.

      • Best days at work are always good to hear about. Tell the story!

        • Nurses. I get to teach nurses.

          • Can you hear that crackling sound? It’s me, burning up with envy.
            Nurses! Arrrrgh!

            • I’ve never looked so forward to Monday mornings in my entire life.

You lucky, lucky bastard. *said in pommy accent*

            • Watch him get a class full of male nurses! 😉

              • Really? Did you really have to gay it up???

            • Don’t think sponge bath. Don’t think sponge bath.

don’t think enema, don’t think enema.

                • True, but it’s not as if it would be anything like Julia Gillard administering it.

        • Colleges just operate on a different level. Sure, there’s more responsibility, but the biggest bonus is being able to do my job properly, as I think it should be done; not having to play second fiddle to some less-than-ideal academy owner or a Korean co-teacher who thinks they know how to do my job better than I do.

  1. We just had to put our oldest cat down last month. Kidney failure. It really tore my wife up.

Glad you have nursed yours back to health! And congrats on the move!

Our last kitty (Mima) died of old age about 7 years ago and Lady Jugs and I still get sad about it.

Cats, just like people, except with fur and fangs 🙂

Sorry to hear about your kitten. Did you get another one?

OK Carpe hand over the bleach, you have to share, that remark by mike of the shire was horrific on the cat! Rarely comment there but have been gagging ever since I read that one! Was tempted to just to ask you to share.
